Putin orders government to raise CIS food imports to hold prices
MOSCOW, Aug 9 (PRIME) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the government to raise food imports from the CIS countries in order to stabilize the prices, according to an order published on the website of the Kremlin on Monday.
The first report on the issue was scheduled for September 1 and the following ones quarterly.
The president also ordered the antitrust to monitor the food prices in the retail chains. The first quarterly report is scheduled for September 1.
He ordered the regional governors and the federal government to prepare a report on availability of the outdoor markets for the farmers until August 15.
